LITEHAUZ was founded in 2007 by biologist and environmental chemist, Frank Stuer-Lauridsen, who, as a specialist and manager in COWI, DMU and DHI, has managed a wide range of environmental projects within shipping, ports and offshore facilities.

LITEHAUZ is always aiming to strengthen and ensure our creative approach and professionalism, and to accommodate larger and an increasing number of projects. When projects call for a wider knowledge base or additional resources we engage our robust network which comprises external freelancers, universities and specialized companies.

Main areas: IMO regulation, emissions and discharges, ballast water and ship recycling and economic and environmental assessments.

Background: Dr. Frank Stuer-Lauridsen has 20 years of experience in management of cross discipline and multistakeholder projects. He is a specialist in strategic management and assessment of hazardous materials in industry and society.


Kristina Kern-Nielsen

Background: Kristina holds a MSc. in Environmental Technology from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. She has a background in assessment of hazardous materials and technical consultancy.


Frey G. Callesen
Environmental Consultant

Main areas: Cost estimation of vessel operation, design of maritime applications and ships, energy optimization.

Background: Frey holds a MSc in Engineering Design and Applied Mechanics from the Technical University of Denmark. He has hand on experience in ship design, construction and energy optimization from earlier work at a shipyard.


Kasper Kyhn Reindel-Pedersen

Main areas: Developing computational tools and calculations for large datasets.

Background: Kasper holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark with the focus area: coastal, maritime and structure and will finish his MSc. in Engineering Design and Applied Mechanics 2019. Kasper has hands on experience in the maritime industry through inclining test, construction and ship design. In addition, he poses strong communication and problem solving skills developed over more than 8 years of working experience.
